Willow

Meet Willow, a sweet little Sewing Lil Bittie made to keep a sewist company while the stitches slowly gather. 🧵

Standing approximately 6.5" tall, Willow is handcrafted from 100% quilting cotton selected from a local quilt shop. Her soft aqua body is paired with a warm, vintage-inspired bird print in gentle cream, brown and blue-green tones.

Her face is embroidered entirely by hand with our signature sleepy eyelashes and a tiny golden stitched beak. Soft rosy cheeks give her the peaceful expression of a little bird who seems perfectly content to spend the afternoon beside the sewing basket.

Willow's wonderfully tousled hair is made from variegated yarn in soft shades of mint, cream and blush. Each little curl and wisp gives her a playful personality all her own.

Her hand-quilted wings are one of Willow's most charming details. Tiny hand stitches trace the wings, which are edged with delicate cotton lace and embellished with decorative buttons and fabric details. The wings also serve a purpose: a few small sewing treasures can be tucked beneath them for safekeeping.

A generous vintage-style cotton lace bow wraps around her body, adding another layer of old-fashioned sewing-room charm.

Willow is filled with a combination of fiberfill and walnut shells, allowing her to serve as a functional pincushion for your favorite pins and needles. The walnut shells provide a pleasantly weighted feel while helping keep pins nestled securely within.
