About the Dollmaker

Meet Denise Talbot, affectionately known as “Gimmie” by her grandchildren, the heart and hands behind DGT Heritage Dolls.

Denise learned to sew as a child, beginning a lifelong love of creating beautiful things by hand. After returning to sewing later in life, she discovered a passion for designing and making one-of-a-kind dolls filled with warmth, character, and timeless charm.

Creativity has always been part of Denise’s story. Over the years, she has enjoyed ceramics, painting, quilting, and professional cake decorating. She is also an avid horseback rider with a lifelong love for horses.

Each DGT Heritage Doll is thoughtfully handcrafted with the care, patience, and attention to detail that Denise has developed through a lifetime of creativity. More than a doll, every piece is a keepsake made to be loved today and handed down for generations.
