Meet Jacque B. the Tailor, a hardworking little Sewing Lil Bittie devoted to the tools, traditions and tiny details of her craft.

Standing approximately 6.5" tall, Jacque B. has been created as both a whimsical sewing companion and a functional pincushion. Her softly rounded body is pieced from an assortment of 100% quilting cottons in warm browns, creams, faded blues and vintage-inspired prints, giving her the look of a treasured sewing-room keepsake assembled from scraps saved over the years.

Jacque's face is embroidered by hand with our signature sleepy eyelashes and a tiny contented smile, finished with softly rosy cheeks. Her rich brown yarn hair is arranged with a sweet braided detail framing her face.

And Jacque B. certainly comes prepared for work.

Her dress is layered with lace, ruffled quilting cotton and sewing-themed trims, then covered with a delightful assortment of miniature sewing trinkets. Tiny scissors, a wooden spool wrapped in blue thread, measuring tape details, oversized safety pins, a miniature ruler, tassel, buttons, a tiny key and a charming little clock are gathered around her as though she has collected everything she might need for a long afternoon at the sewing table.

A large cream ribbon printed with handwritten-style "love" wraps around her waist, finished with a black heart-shaped embellishment. These little details give Jacque B. the wonderfully collected, slightly timeworn character of an old-fashioned seamstress who believes every scrap, button and bit of ribbon might someday become useful.

Jacque B. is filled with both fiberfill and walnut shells, making her a functional pincushion with a pleasantly substantial feel. Her 3.5" base gives her stability on a sewing table, cutting table or beside your favorite chair.
