Meet our friend Angie. 🧵

Angie is a little patchwork sewing pal with a love for pretty fabric scraps, old-fashioned notions and keeping your favorite pins close at hand.

Her pincushion body is pieced together from an assortment of 100% cotton quilting fabrics in florals, ginghams, tiny prints and sewing-inspired designs. Rather than hiding the different fabrics, Angie's patchwork celebrates them—the sort of treasured little remnants a maker simply can't bear to throw away.

Her face is embroidered entirely by hand with our signature sleepy lashes and softly blushed rosy cheeks. Creamy yarn hair frames her face and falls softly down her back, while layers of cotton lace, raw-edged fabric and a wonderfully oversized patchwork bow give her the collected character of something made from a well-loved sewing basket.

Angie is pretty, but she's here to work, too. Her pincushion body is filled with a combination of fiberfill and walnut shells, giving pins and needles a useful place to rest while you sew. A 3.5" base gives this little Sewing Lil Bittie stability beside your sewing machine or on your worktable.

Look closely and you'll find places for pins and small sewing notions tucked among her patchwork layers. Like the quilts that inspired her, Angie brings together little pieces of fabric and turns them into something meant to be useful, loved and kept.
